This is site was created to provide information and support for patients with ventricular tachycardia and their loved ones.

About me:

I am a nurse practitioner and mother of 3 kids. I went through a six month ordeal with refractory ventricular tachycardia that took everything important to me and came very close to taking my life. The recurring arrhythmia eventually was discovered to be caused by the implantable defibrillator (ICD) lead that had been placed in my chest to protect me from sudden cardiac death. It was removed and I have been completely cured for 1 year now. The physical and emotional scars still remain but hopefully they will continue to improve over time.

I created this site to share my story and offer support and information to those who need help but may not know where to turn. I welcome questions or comments. Please feel free to join the message board and contribute.
